What Somny keeps
Somny keeps the account information needed to provide the service, including your email address, name, account identifiers, and authentication records. If you use Google Sign-In, Google supplies basic profile information, such as your email, name, and profile image. Passwords and API keys are stored as hashes; authentication sessions and linked-provider credentials are protected separately.
We keep usage metadata such as the model used, request identifiers, timestamps, token counts, weighted allowance charges, request status, and timing. Billing records include plan, subscription, payment-status, and transaction references. Stripe processes payment details; Somny does not store your full card details.
Authentication and security systems may process IP addresses, browser information, and security events. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to share.
Prompts and responses
Somny processes prompts, responses, uploaded request content, and tool payloads transiently to fulfill your requests. Somny does not save these contents in its application database, usage logs, or playground history.
Requests must be sent to model-service providers to generate a response. Those providers may have their own processing, retention, and security practices. Somny’s metadata-only storage policy is not a promise that every upstream provider has zero retention. Your chosen client app may also keep its own history.
How information is used and shared
We use account and service information to authenticate users, route requests, measure usage, enforce allowances, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and respond to support requests.
Service providers help deliver hosting, network protection, authentication, transactional email, payments, and model processing. They receive the information needed for those functions. Providers may process information in countries other than your own. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to address fraud or protect the service and its users.
Google, Stripe, Discord, and your chosen client apps also process information under their own policies. Joining Discord or sharing support information there is separate from using Somny’s API.
Cookies, retention, and your choices
Somny uses essential cookies and related session information for sign-in and account security. Blocking these can prevent account features from working.
Account, usage, billing, and security records are retained for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve billing questions, investigate abuse, and meet applicable obligations. Deletion requests may require some records to be retained for those purposes, and existing backups may expire on a separate schedule.
You can revoke API keys in your account. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information. Contact support to make a request; we may need to verify account ownership. We cannot retrieve prompt or response history that Somny does not store.
